Nicholas Vallis-Davies & Sien Vallis-Davies value and love life... and have always done their utmost to embrace its on-going opportunities for challenge and expansion , though this has tested their endurance and strength almost to the limits more than a few times  :-)

 

Professionally , Vallis-Davies celebrate their 25 years’ life together, and a career that has included the very good fortune to work as soloists & consultants at the highest international level, as presenter/producers for network TV, and then to compose and record soundtracks for worldwide film & media productions.  Personally, it is a journey that has taken them on a self-development  exploration they never expected - or signed up for - but that has offered light-filled  and sparkling spiritual rewards...

 

 

 

BACKGROUND

 

In their 20s they flew all over the world, staying in sumptuous hotels and experiencing cultural treasures , while they were soloists with international orchestras including the LSO & London Philharmonic. Vallis-Davies solo performances were featured on major film scores and recordings of CDs of all kinds for Deutsche Grammophon, BMG etc. 

 

Highlights of a whirlwind decade included being  a part of electrifying concerts from Paris to Tokyo,  Japan to Moscow…and the privilege of working within the vital collective energy of great friends and colleagues

 

 

 

FILM AND MEDIA

 

 

Having recorded many film scores at Abbey Road, CTS and Angel Studios with the LSO & London Philharmonic, Nicholas & Sien loved the idea of writing and scoring their own film & media music... to be free to create pure, blue-sky kind of music, infused with happiness and lifeforce

 

Seeking out ever more daring moves away from the comfort zone of logic and towards their hearts' true homing signal of creative and spiritual freedom, they decided to move out of London to establish a new recording studio together.

In their 30s a lucky soul-call drew them to the sacred Isle of Avalon. They found their new home in rural Somerset just outside Glastonbury, England which provided the perfect, inspirational backdrop to write and record their own distinctive soundworlds.

 

Vallis-Davies Media Music was initially aquired by EMI and the library’s output has since been used in films and productions throughout Europe, USA and the Far East, on CNN, Sky, BBC etc globally.

 

With their other company Formedia Ltd, Nicholas and Sien also enjoyed co-producing & presenting innovative TV  & Radio productions on network Channel 4 and BBC in the UK.

 

 



 

 

 

DISCOVERIES

 

 

While living in Glastonbury, Nicholas and Sien Vallis-Davies developed a passion for metaphysics and the potential for expanding consciousness. This led them to research neurolinguistics, visualisation and yogic techniques....an ongoing enlightening adventure,  ultimately leading them to the deep realisation of the value of love, contentment and happiness as an internal state of being. 

 

 

UNIVERSITY

 

 

Due to their background in high-level performance, and known for their ultra positive contribution within the academic field, Nicholas and Sien Vallis-Davies enjoyed the privilege of working at universities & conservatoires as visiting professors, lecturing and giving masterclasses. With their abundance of practical knowledge and extensive research into neurolinguistics they were able to utilise leading edge techniques in the exploration and achievement of joyful excellence with many enthusiastic students.

 

They wanted to share all their discoveries about performing to the professional apex on a one-to-one basis too. By founding and directing Peak Performance Studio UK (London /Somerset), they realised their vision to share all the most helpful, self-supportive philosophies which they were fortunate to research and find useful during their own diverse, life-enhancing experiences. 

 

They ran Peak Performance Studio for well over a decade alongside their media company, sharing empowerment and fun with many, many other go-for-it life lovers from across the UK, and in the USA and Europe via Skype.

 

 

 

 

 

GRANTS

 

 

They were highly fortunate to be awarded funding and grants from the National Lottery for their innovative educational books and recordings, and their projects were featured on primetime network TV .  Vallis-Davies articles on psychological performance techniques were published in professional journals in USA UK and Germany, and Nicholas and Sien were so pleased to have this platform to share helpful concepts with such a wide audience.

 

 

 

 BOOK PUBLISHING 

 

After successful distribution throughout Europe, the entire Vallis-Davies interactive catalogue was bought and licensed by Music Sales USA in New York, enabling  their educational books & recording to be distributed and sold to thousands of people worldwide. It is a heartwarming thought to Nicholas & Sien that their ideas are hopefully offering some upliftment to friends they have never met, both here and across the seas...
